“Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when he appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is.”

John never stopped warning the Christian congregations about false teachers who had been trying to lead them astray. He often shows them what the truth is and then exposes the lie which the agents of Satan were trying to teach.
