“When Jesus landed and saw a large crowd, he had compassion on them, because they were like sheep without a shepherd. So he began teaching them many things.”

One of the few stories that appear in all four gospels in this one— the feeding of a crowd of five thousand. The story begins when Jesus’ compassion for a crowd of people wouldn’t quit. Jesus wanted to serve the crowds even after an exhausting day for him and his disciples. Jesus was always thinking about how to serve people.
