“But a poor widow came and put in two very small copper coins, worth only a fraction of a penny.”

The Bible scholar Jesus counseled was supposed to be a shepherd to the people of God— someone who was not only familiar with the Bible, but also able to point the way to eternal life and to the Kingdom of God.
