You Are The Christ
Matthew 16:1-28

“Simon Peter answered, ‘You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.’”
As the time for Jesus’ suffering was coming closer, his top disciple Peter made a historic confession of faith which solidified everything Jesus came to this world to do. Peter had said: “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” And this one confession became the foundation of our Christian faith and the rock of the Christian church. And for this very reason Jesus also promised Peter, “On this rock I will build my church”. Jesus meant that Peter’s confession was the rock of man’s salvation.
