“We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. It enters the inner sanctuary behind the curtain, where Jesus, who went before us, has entered on our behalf.”

The apostle was harsh with these Christians when he rebuked them to grow up and mature in the faith and the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. He was harsh with them because if they do not mature, they were in danger of not bearing the fruits of salvation which God requires of every born again Christian.
