Who is the Messiah?

Messiah

When it boils down to understanding God, the Bible, and how to be spared or have endless life, or be in paradise always – the issue is the MESSIAH! The Bible cautions us that there will be numerous who say they are the Messiah, and they will betray numerous individuals. There are numerous convictions among the religions of the world with regards to the genuine personality of the Messiah. It can be extremely confounding. We have concentrated on what the Bible educates on this issue.

The Gospel of John (in the Bible) records a few supernatural occurrences that Jesus did. In John 20:30-31, we read these critical words about the Messiah:

“What’s more, numerous different signs really did Jesus within the sight of His supporters, which are not composed in this book: But rather these are composed, that ye may trust that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God; and that trusting ye may have life through His name.”

Subside (one of the pupils of Jesus) said in Acts 4:12:

“Nor is there salvation in some other: for there is none other name under paradise given among men, whereby we should be spared.”

Salvation isn’t the consequence of going to a congregation, synagogue, or mosque – or endeavoring to be a decent individual. As per the Bible, salvation is found by trusting that Jesus is the Messiah and the special case Who can spare us from wrongdoing, passing, and damnation. The Hebrew prophet Isaiah cites the Messiah in Isaiah 45:22-23:

“Look unto Me, and be ye spared, all ye finishes of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else. I have sworn independent from anyone else, the word is left My mouth in nobility, and should not restore, that unto Me each knee might bow, each tongue should swear.”

These verses are cited in the New Testament in Philippians 2:9-11:

“Wherefore God (the superb Father) additionally hath exceptionally lifted up Him (Jesus), and given Him a name which is over each name: That at the name of Jesus each knee should bow, of things in paradise, and things in earth, and things under the earth; and that each tongue ought to admit that Jesus the Messiah is Lord, to the brilliance of God the Father.”

As you can obviously observe, it is God’s motivation and plans to lift up His Son, our Savior, and that all ought to recognize that Jesus the Messiah is Lord!

The Bible displays in incredible detail the ancestry of the Messiah. After the worldwide surge, Noah and his three children, Shem, Ham, and Japheth, start to repopulate the earth. His child, Shem (which signifies “name”), turns into the one through whom the Messiah will come. This line of Shem drives us to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Jacob’s name was changed to “ISRAEL” and his fourth child by his significant other, Leah, is named “JUDAH” and is the Jewish clan through whom the Messiah will come (Genesis 49:10). The line of Judah conveys us to a man named “Jesse” (Isaiah 11:1) and to his child “DAVID.” To this youthful shepherd, God guaranteed a relative who might favor the whole world. It was his child, Solomon, who manufactured the Jewish Temple (demolished by Babylon in 586 BC). His line was the imperial line of Jewish rulers that would present to us the Messiah. One of his future relatives was Joseph, the person who might wed a youthful Jewish virgin named “Miryam” (Mary) who wound up pregnant before he could wed her. The Bible shows that the Messiah would be conceived from a virgin’s womb (Psalm 132:11; Isaiah 7:14; Matthew 1:23), and it even names where the Messiah would be conceived – Bethlehem (Micah 5:2; Matthew 2:1-6).

There is an interesting prediction in Malachi 3:1:

“Observe, I will send My delivery person, and he might set up the path before Me; and the Lord, Whom ye look for, should all of a sudden go to His sanctuary, even the Messenger of the agreement, Whom ye take pleasure in view, He might come, saith the LORD of hosts.”

Malachi composes AFTER the devastation of the Temple of Solomon by Babylon in 586 BC, so this prediction can’t allude to that sanctuary. Additionally, there has been no sanctuary since 70 AD when the Romans obliterated the Second Temple (manufactured and reestablished by Herod the Great). The main time that the above entry could have been satisfied was the time the Second Temple was all the while standing! The primary “detachment” of Malachi 3:1 who will set up the method for the Lord was John the Baptist. The second “Errand person of the agreement” is simply the Messiah!

The Messiah would come into this world (the first run through) to languish and kick the bucket over the transgressions of all humankind (Isaiah 53). The Bible instructs unmistakably that Jesus not just passed on that Roman cross for our wrongdoings, however, that He emerged from the dead on the third day after He kicked the bucket. Discuss unbelievable news! The Messiah isn’t dead – HE IS ALIVE!

In the wake of rising back to paradise (Acts 1:9-11), He guaranteed that He would come back once more (John 14:1-6). He is the expectation of the whole world!

Here’s the issue: It isn’t sufficient to know these Biblical realities; as indicated by the Bible, we should put our confidence and trust in the Messiah Himself as our lone any desire for salvation and everlasting life. Romans 10:13 says:

“For whosoever might call upon the name of the Lord should be spared.”

Romans 10:17 includes:

“So then confidence cometh by hearing, and hearing by the expression of God”

Our confidence is in the expressions of the Bible about the genuine personality of the Messiah. We urge you to take out a snapshot of your chance right now, and call upon the special case Who can spare you! As we admit and atone of our transgressions, and trust that Jesus kicked the bucket and paid for our wrongdoings, and rose again from the dead, putting our trust and confidence in only him, the Bible guarantees us that we will be spared!
