Made Perfect Through Suffering
Hebrews 2:10-18
Key Verse 2:10
“In bringing many sons to glory, it was fitting that God, for whom and through whom everything exists, should make the author of their salvation perfect through suffering.”
Look at the last verse we reflected on, verse 9. Jesus was made a little lower than the angels for a little while, and in doing so, he became subject to death. So the author tells us that Jesus, being a man suffered death as a man. And he did so for a good reason. He didn’t suffer death for his own sins (as he was sinless).
