The Trustworthy Message
Titus 1:1-16

“He must hold firmly to the trustworthy message as it has been taught, so that he can encourage others by sound doctrine and refute those who oppose it.”
There are many similarities between the first letter Paul wrote to Timothy, which we just finished, and the letter he wrote to Titus— another of his sons in the faith. They were both evangelized by Paul and called to follow in Paul’s footsteps. They were both left to serve in difficult and problematic churches, Timothy in Ephesus and Titus in Crete.
