1 Corinthians 7:1–7

“I wish that all men were as I am. But each man has his own gift from God; one has this gift, another has that.”

Because there was an unusual amount of immoral behavior among the Corinthian Christians. Paul writes about some things in this chapter to help them resolve the problem of rampant immorality which seems to have plagued the church.
