Last Sunday we studied how Mary had just received God’s call to a life of difficult mission. God favored her to be the mother of his Son, the Savior of the world. And Mary had accepted God’s favor even when it meant that she would conceive the Son of God out of wedlock. It was the most difficult decision of her life, since she would have to sacrifice her marriage and risk abandonment.
