“The jailer brought them into his house and set a meal before them; he was filled with joy because he had come to believe in God— he and his whole family.”
We saw in last passage how Paul was so eager to pioneer Asia. It was on his heart to go there and share the treasure of the gospel with that province; and I suppose his companions Silas and Luke and whoever else might have accompanied him went along with Paul’s decision since he was the driving force of all missionary journeys.
