The Spirit Of His Son Who Calls Out Abba Father

Galatians 3:26-4:7

Paul was broken hearted that the young and inexperienced Galatian Christians were so easily fooled by those who wanted to make them Law-abiding Jews like themselves. Here we’re talking about God’s laws, so when we say “Law-abiding”, it actually sounds like the right thing to do. But that’s where the trick is. The Law And The Promise

 Galatians 3:15-29

In the last passage we looked at, Paul warns the Galatian Christians who were influenced by a new teaching that contradicts the gospel of God’s grace. Paul had once preached the gospel to them, and they had accepted it. They had once received God’s blessing by putting their faith in Christ Jesus. What kind of blessing did they receive? Galatians 3:10-14

“He redeemed us in order that the blessing given to Abraham might come to the Gentiles through Christ Jesus, so that by faith we might receive the promise of the Spirit.”

“All who rely on the works of the law are under a curse”! This is a pretty strong statement to make. But against whom was Paul making it? Against those who had poisoned the churches of Galatia with what Paul calls a “false gospel”. He also makes this strong statement against those who were poisoned by their teachings and had decided to follow it. Jonah Obeyed The Word Of The Lord

Jonah 3:1-10

The first time around, when God commanded Jonah to deliver a message of God’s judgment on the city and people of Nineveh, Jonah bought a ticket on a ship sailing the opposite direction.
