One reason we know God hears our prayers is on account of He has guaranteed to hear them! Regardless of whether He doesn’t generally answer the way we figure He should, despite everything he hears us. The Psalmist proclaimed, “With respect to me, I call to God … and he hears my voice” (Psalm 55:16-17).
